DiRK Simulator is a core product of a real-time simulation technology called DiRK. It provides a versatile simulation engine for running closed-loop simulation satisfying automotive ECUs on a testbench. It is compatible with restbus simulation model of VWG platforms MEB, MQB and PPE and support LIN, CAN, CANFD and Ethernet.

Dynamic test benches built on DiRK platform reduce supporting ecosystem of the test unit to an absolute minimum. The benches are equipped with a simulation PC with a dynamic model of the selected vehicle platform and a so-called model switch, which allows the customer to turn on/off individual parts of the simulation model on-line as if he was connecting/disconnecting actual vehicle units.

Changes in simulation models made by car manufacturers on its largest test systems are very quickly propagated to all test benches that are part of the DiRK platform. This case can be repeated or performed completely automatically.

The DiRK dynamic test bench is universal. The basic structure and simulation node are the same for all types of units. Only the number of installed converters for a given unit or set of units differs.

The customer does not have to think about the appropriate configuration and complexity of the wiring harness, does not have to search for other supporting units and system components (Gateways, BMCs, HCP5s, keys, immobilizers, etc.) in addition to the units under-the-test, because they can be simulated.

The DiRK platform significantly shortens the cycle of promotion of changes applied by the car manufacturers itself and its suppliers.
